The Veil Classes: All Classes, Tiers and Requirements (Roblox)
Full The Veil classes roster with role summaries, super vs ultra tier rules, hybrid costs, and unlock requirements — quick lookup for every class.
Classes in The Veil come in two tiers — super classes and ultra classes — with hard limits on how many you can hold and how you combine them. An ultra class is one per character: once you hold one, its abilities cannot be mixed with any other class's abilities, you can no longer talk to other ultra class trainers, and you are expected to fully learn that class's entire skill set. Out of combat, though, you can re-equip your ultra class or swap between super hybrid setups at any time, so you can experiment with super combinations freely — the real commitment only begins when you accept an ultra class.
Verified class roster
Only four class names trace to an official source — Berserker, GODSEEKER, FLORIST and "sentinel" — appearing in a video title posted by the developer on the official news channel. There is no official class list yet. Beyond that, creator walkthroughs have documented eight classes with on-camera footage (community-documented):
| Class | Role summary |
|---|---|
| Gladiator | The classic warrior with a rage mode; a Sins class |
| Duskwing | The shinobi archetype, grapple hook included |
| Hive Disciple | Poisons through swarms of bugs |
| Sky Sentinel | The orderly summoner (Offerings side): aura of guardian wisps, a stomp that heals and buffs all summons, an ice dash; passive of +10% summon damage, +10% summon life, one extra summon, at the cost of 10% resistance |
| Florist | Druid-style nature class |
| Marauder | Speed and dirty tactics: Surge Aura, Vanishing Gambit and a Flash Step |
| Cultist | The evil summoner on the Sins path |
Note on naming: creator footage has labeled the shinobi class "Dusk wing/Dusk Bringer" and referred to "hive disciple" and "sky sentinel" inconsistently, while guide write-ups use "Duskwing," "Hive Disciple" and "Sky Sentinel." The Sky Sentinel kit as listed above is creator-documented, and details of its kit are currently reported inconsistently — check in-game before committing.
Super and ultra classes
Super classes can be mixed: equipping an ability from another class into your loadout makes you a hybrid. The documented cost of going hybrid is forfeiting the pure class's stat buff — a pure Marauder keeps its +8% speed bonus; a pure Crusader keeps its heal and blind-resistance bonuses; mix abilities in and those buffs are gone. Hybrid is flexibility in exchange for the passive. Ultra classes cannot be hybridized at all.
Switching is not permanent lock-in: once unlocked, classes can be freely swapped between out of combat — creators have demonstrated owning multiple classes (Crusader, Marauder) and switching between them instantly. For ultra classes, the only way out is Kharvos, an NPC who can reset your ultra class through a trade. What the trade actually costs is not confirmed yet, so do not pick an ultra class expecting a free undo.
Class requirements at a glance
General unlock requirements (per-class trainers and quests vary):
- Alignment currency gates the class: most classes require 30 Sins (chaotic path, from killing players) or 30 Offerings (orderly path, from good deeds like quests and bounty-style tasks). The Marauder is a mixed case: 15 Sins + 15 Offerings.
- Bring about 1,000 silver to pay the trainer.
- Pass the class quest first; difficulty varies — e.g. the Marauder's quest is a timed 3-minute on-foot run to Echo Hold (no teleporting), while others differ.
- Then talk to the class trainer and pay.
Farming tip from creators: the Idol of Hatreds, found behind a bookshelf in the Weeping Crypt's cave, helps stack Sins/Offerings.
Each class is granted by its respective trainer NPC (Vorax is one known trainer), who checks the alignment requirement, the class quest and the silver payment. Trainer locations for most classes are not yet documented well enough to list here; the official Discord's help channels are currently the fastest source of directions, and detailed trainer routes are covered on the class-trainers page.
Class reference or recommendation
This page is a reference catalog: it tells you what each class is and where it fits in the super/ultra system, but it does not rank them. If you want a ranked comparison, open the class tier list. If you've picked a class and need its quest steps and trainer route, go to that class's profile or the class trainers page. Whether classes are locked to a character slot, and whether there is any roll mechanic for classes, is not confirmed.
